Event Terms of Engagement

By participating in events organized and held by Hedge Fund Tech Connect Inc. (“HFTC”, “We” or “Our”), participants acknowledge they have read, understood and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Event Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to the Event Code of Conduct that promotes a respectful and inclusive environment for all attendees. Any behavior that violates this code may result in removal from the event without refund or further action deemed necessary by HFTC as outlined in the code.

Media Release: Participants acknowledge that photographs, videos, and audio recordings (“Media Materials) may be taken during the event. Furthermore, participants grant permission to HFTC, its representatives, employees and authorized agents to use and publish any of these Media Materials for promotional and documentation purposes, without payment of any kind to the participant. This usage includes, but is not limited to, publication on our website, social media channels, and other promotional materials, now known or hereafter created.

Information Sharing with Sponsors: Participants understand that personal information including, but not limited to, participant’s name, title, company, and email address, will be shared with event sponsors. These sponsors are bound by our Acceptable Use Policy, ensuring the responsible and ethical use of your provided information.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Details regarding event cancellations and refund policies, including deadlines for requests, are outlined in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Participants are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and adhering to these policies.

Changes to Event: HFTC reserves the right to make changes to the event, date, location, schedule, speakers, or content without prior notice. Every effort will be made to inform participants of any such changes.

Liability Disclaimer: HFTC is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience sustained by participants during the event, whether occurring in person or virtually.

Chatham House Rule: The Chatham House Rule may be selectively applied during certain parts of an event or when specifically requested by a participant. Under this rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed during those designated times. When the Chatham House Rule is in effect, no audio or video recording will be permitted. Additionally, any notes taken during the event will ensure that no individual speaker is named.

Intellectual Property: All event materials, including presentations, handouts, and other resources, are the intellectual property of HFTC. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of these materials is prohibited.

Technology Requirements: Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary technology and internet connectivity to fully participate in the virtual components of the event, if applicable.
