Event Code of Conduct

Hedge Fund Tech Connect, Inc. (“HFTC”, “We” or “Our”) is dedicated to providing a safe and harassment-free professional environment at all of our events (whether virtual or in-person) for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age, religion, or any other protected category. HFTC does not tolerate harassment of any participant in any form.

This Event Code of Conduct applies to all HFTC event participants, including sponsors, members, guests, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors or vendors participating in any HFTC event. We reserve the right to modify or update this Event Code of Conduct at any time and agree to notify future event participants of any material changes.

Expected Behavior

All event participants are expected to:

Unacceptable Behavior

Intimidating, harassing, discriminatory, abusive, derogatory, demeaning or otherwise inappropriate speech or actions by any event participant at any HFTC event, virtual or in-person, as well as in one-on-one communication carried out in the context of HFTC, will not be tolerated.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to, perceived offensive verbal or written comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion; it also includes stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Event participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. If an event participant engages in unacceptable behavior, HFTC leadership may initiate any reasonable action they deem appropriate. For members, sponsors or other attendees, this may include but not be limited to removal from the event, expulsion from future HFTC events or online forums, internal programs, or summoning event security or law enforcement.

If applicable, members could have their membership(s) and any related permission(s) revoked, and this decision would be communicated in writing to the individual and/or the individual’s company.

If applicable, sponsors could have their Sponsorship Agreements terminated without refund to the sponsor.

If you have been or are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns involving someone’s welfare, please notify a member of the HFTC team or email legal@hftconnect.com. In case of an emergency, please contact law enforcement first and then notify HFTC staff. During an event, HFTC will be available to help contact local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise provide assistance, so that those experiencing unacceptable behavior can feel safe for the duration of the event.
