Acceptable Use Policy

  1. Purpose & Scope. This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of Registration Contact Information provided to Sponsors by the Hedge Fund Tech Connect, Inc. organization (“HFTC”). The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that Registrants’ contact information is used ethically and responsibly by Sponsors, while still allowing Sponsors to engage with Registrants and track opportunities related to the HFTC event.
  2. Use of Registration Contact Information. Sponsors may only use Registration Contact Information provided to them by HFTC for the following purposes:

    (a) Communication related to the HFTC event for which the Registrant has registered.

    (b) Opportunity tracking related to the HFTC event.

  3. Restrictions on Use of Registration Contact Information. Sponsors must comply with the following restrictions when using Registration Contact Information provided to them by HFTC:

    (a) Sponsors may not use Zoom Info or any similar service to perform email-based reverse lookup of phone numbers of Registrants.

    (b) Sponsors may only reach out to Registrants one time following the event to thank them for participating and offer them a chance to learn more about the sponsor’s products and/or services.

    (c) If a Registrant does not reply or opts out of future communication, the Sponsor may no longer contact that Registrant. Sponsors must respect Registrants’ wishes to opt out of communication or unsubscribe from future communication.

    (d) Sponsors must not engage in any form of communication that could be considered harassment or spam.

    (e) Sponsors must not use Registration Contact Information for any purpose other than communication related to the event and opportunity tracking related to the event.

  4. Sponsor Communication with Registrants. Sponsors who have been contacted by a Registrant via email or phone may freely engage in communication with that Registrant via the same channel without being limited by the restrictions on using Zoom Inf or any similar service. However, Sponsors must still abide by the restrictions listed in Section 3 of this Policy.
  5. Consequences of Policy Violations. Any violation of this Policy may result in Sponsor’s removal from the event or other consequences at the discretion of HFTC.
  6. Policy Updates. HFTC reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Sponsors will be notified of any updates to the policy via email or other appropriate means.
